@neil my nissan leaf, bought in 2017, was over twice the price of any vehicle i'd bought before! But with home charging (super cheap night time tariff) it paid off the difference within about 5 years and honestly, never going to a petrol station is very nice! (you won't save if you can't charge at home though)
