For Disabled.Social Members ONLY:
Folks asked about increasing the character count. When we first created the server a few years ago, we ran a poll and majority wanted the character count kept as is.
Now it's time we did another survey. Our server team cannot guarantee we will update the count, since we need to balance security and safety versus modifying the count (installing a fork is one way). No advice, just for members to express wishes. Edited to clarify.
Please boost if not a member.

Welp, only thirty-four people responded and most were not from disabled.social. Hoped for a bit more from our server, but it's hard to get this seen. I could run it again and drop in announcements? So those logging in will see announcement right away? Do you think that'll net more folks?
