AerynOS Unstable Stream update: 11th February 2026 This week we have a sizable update landing in our unstable repository with updates to many of our DEs, updates to how boulder works to making life easier for our packagers, an additional installation option in lichen (to make setting up a custom Window Manager install easier), changes to our kernel scheduler, new packages and much more. With all the new updates and specifically with the lichen installer update, we will likely land a new ISO much sooner than our usual cadence. This week, we have also included links to our new Stripe donation options. Stripe will be the preferred method for receiving donations going forwards as it reduces the overall fees we are being charged (compared to Ko-Fi) by around 7% which is not insignificant!
