The Silent Hill fanbase has become the most obnoxious, boomer energy losers in the gaming world. Konami finally putting out new entries with interesting new angles to how the ideas of the series can be explored, creating genuinely engaging stories with unique creative voices, and all I hear from them is grumbling about lore (a thing the Team Silent games barely cared about) and it not being like SH1-4.
No wonder remake culture won't fucking die.

Keep in mind outside whatever the fuck the Bad Robot produced...thing??? was, this has genuinely been an interesting series of games with significant positives to their approaches, if not perfect, but always creative. They feel in spirit with the ideas of 2-4, exploring themes of trauma from varied angles and using disturbing imagery as mirrors to greater truths and ideas. There's discussion to be had on the negatives of these approaches that always gets drowned out like "NOT LIKE PS2 GAMES!!!"
