@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange annoying when this feature (and name changing) is gated behind grinding gameplay and/or is an in-game purchase tho. In Guild Wars 2, the "Identity Repair Kit" package containing both the "Total Makeover Kit" (which allows changing all character appearance traits including gender) plus the "Name Change Contract" costs 1000 gems, which can be purchased for USD $12.50 or around 400 gold in the in-game currency (obtaining that would require 20+ hours of in-game grinding assuming you go for peak gathering efficiency rather than fun gameplay…).
