As it stands, even though Mastodon is my last remaining social media platform, I feel like I'm not part of it. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing! But now I'm wondering, am I just doing it wrong? (genuine question) Is there a difference in technique that explains why some of us want quote posts while others say they aren't necessary? I completely get your concerns about them being misused.
