@janantos@f.cz @golemwire I have found this comment on HN that nicely puts in words my concern: My issue however, is that this is changing the rules on people. Codeberg initially was a FLOSS alternative to big company Github. Now it's more narrow, an alternative to Github and only for people who don't want to use AI. What's the next step? This is the problem, you either a platform and be, within legal reasons, agnostic, or you are trying to be a specific community. It is unclear to me if the specific community that Codeberg wants to be today will be the one it wants to be in a year from now, because clearly it's changing. I cannot rely on a service provider that does change that quickly.

@tomgag@infosec.exchange @golemwire yep, and then the explanation blog have narrowed it even more, and then also in another thread they banned cryptocurrencies (does it mean all blockchain apps not being even crypto?) do I need to wait for another explanation making it even narrower? My issue is the complete unpredictability, one would say to stick with evil MS GitHub, yes it is evil, but you know what to expect and have calm sleeping. What would be next, they wake up and say that another tool is bad? This is not cause, it is symptom of FOSS people elitism. It is their choice and I respect that, but I am not going to be part of it. Not mentioning complete lack of transparency, this has been discussed in closed circle and result affecting all users next day. It is not simply predictable stable environment. As I said, I have migrated my projects to Tangled and in few days I will not even remember, just need to remake CI/CD (which I was selfhosting anyway) for brow6el terminal browser.
