One of several massive anchors from the sailing ship d'Surville that were cut free during a violent storm off Tokerau Beach in #doubtlessbay in 1769. Currently located in the Far North Museum in Te Ahu, Kaitaia. #photography #aotearoa #farnorth #anchor
