The working machine is not network connected so I load Audacity onto a thumb drive, thence onto the computer, plug everything in, and test the setup with a different casette to make sure things are working. They are! I press play on the tape deck, record on the computer, and 14 minutes later, I've got my songs! They aren't very good. One isn't too bad, and I actually quite like the bass line I put together for another one.But I've heard them for the first time in thirty years. Win! 🧵 8/8
