This playbook explains how to use that model responsibly. It is designed for a small agency campaign, an in-house SEO team, or a freelancer who needs a repeatable process rather than another complicated dashboard.
Step 1: Define the campaign before ordering links
Start with the page you want to support and the business purpose behind it. A campaign for a service page should not be planned in the same way as a campaign for a blog post, product category, or local landing page. (3/40)

Write down these five items: 1. Target URL: Choose one page that can benefit from qualified referral traffic and stronger authority. 2. Primary topic: Describe the page in plain language, such as “commercial solar installation for warehouses.” 3. Audience: Identify who should find the page and what problem they are trying to solve. 4. Link volume: Select a realistic number of placements for the campaign stage instead of ordering an arbitrary large batch. (4/40)
