Iran is the US' enemy because they rebelled against being our client State and took back their oil. A lot like Cuba is the US' enemy because they refused to bend the knee to our capitalist owner/operators. And Venezuela. Understanding where the enmity originated highlights how responsibility for the state of its relationships with those nations falls firmly on US shoulders.
