There's a reason why in the U.S., everything comes down to the economy. It's the stable foundation on which everyone can build. Without it, we're lost. Think of the American economy as a seawall that keeps out the tide for everyone. The party in charge keeps stealing stones out of that seawall so it can create a tall, massive artificial island for itself and its people. And the tide rushing in through the holes? Well, that's for the poors to worry about. Even though they built the wall with their own hands and their own rocks, they don't matter. At least the important people and their wealth are all safe on (Epstein's?) island.
