Back in 2022 I did a Banned Books Week display inspired by @Richard_Littler and #Scarfolk. Hidden underneath each book were little notes saying things like "Put that back", "You're on CCTV" and "Isn't the 'No' poster big enough for you?" It was to highlight that in many parts of the world - even those built on the buzzwords of freedom and democracy - a lot of books are deemed dangerous or undesirable by certain groups of privileged people who want to regulate and control others. It got very positive feedback and so far I haven't been detained. I assume it's only a matter of time. #BannedBooksWeek #BannedBooks
