After an operation was prescribed Metoprolol (Minax) and now it sits around 75. When I forget, it rises well above 100 and I've learned to recognise the effects. Similar to the article linked. My dear old sister in her late 80s has a pacemaker for skipped beats. She recently was having symptoms similar to those in article. The medico found her rate was way up, and was so she was similarly prescribed. What's interesting about hers is that it's remotely monitored, but no action was taken about the high rate. She had to visit the doctor for it to be addressed.
