@dave people will inevitably forsake privacy for convenience. The only success I ever had outside of my family was Signal , back when it also did SMS to non signal users. I have also attempted to get people to use :- #Berty #Briar with zero success but have a few people migrated to #simplex which is cool but flakey on notifications. No one I know uses #bitchat
