Parts of the Midwest and Texas saw one- and two-category improvements this week. The Southern Plains and Northeast also saw some areas of improvement. Drought worsened through parts of the West, with some improvement in Montana and Colorado. Parts of the Southeast also saw degradation. The High Plains and Hawaii saw mixed conditions.
