@faux @CursedFootprint My ignorant initial guess was some sort of power/motor controller. The only time I've seen that sort of offset through hole pattern was on a budget CNC controller kit in the mid-2000s. I must be getting better with my amateur component ornithology because it was surprisingly close to the ST datasheet you posted. :)
