Did you ever kill a #OrgMode Note by accident and lost the whole note you just wrote? Then this #emacs package might help: https://codeberg.org/Thaodan/org-note-auto-save The mode isn't that big but I only finished the initial version just now. Should be good enough. Maybe submit this Org-mode.
