preliminary results: both my roommates last year did not eat kiwis with a spoon and i came to believe that my family was freakish and strange grateful to have contradictory data the next time i have to defend spoon eating

@cxli@scholar.social i love to peel fruit so occasionally i will attempt a peel for maximum luxury eating and sharing! but yeah, probably spoon on most occasions

@cxli@scholar.social I loved kiwis as a kid but did not live in a kiwi eating household, so I eventually landed on just cutting the halves in half and eating them like orange slices, or if I'm feeling feral, I'll just dive into the half and slurp out the juice while I eat. I'd note that the few times I'd tried to use a spoon, I punctured the skin.
