Trans people and credit, this is something people don't talk about much. When I transitioned, the credit bureaus did NOT transfer my long, excellent history to my new name. It all restarted at zero, which cratered my credit rating. It took years to fix the 'length of time with accounts' metrics. Nothing I could do about it.
