I dont want to seem argumentative so Im not replying, & I mean this in good faith, but it is kinda insulting to a bunch of hard working people to say you wish movies were "still lit & blocked professionally". Those are professionals whether or not you like their art/technicals. And that work is done on ever dwindling budgets, with terrible hours, in a hellacious media production era. And there ARE definitely filmmakers doing great work lighting/blocking right now inspite of the bad conditions.
