@WTFPurpleAlpaca@poa.st I remember the Russian Historian Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson talked about one of the rabbi's letters to Lenin in the early 20s about how they needed to clamp down hard on anti semitism and it basically amounted to "I heard one factory worker say something anti semitic to another factory worker while they were on their smoke break OY VEY OY GEVALT WE NEED TO SHUT THIS DOWN NOW!!!" Doctor Johnson even casted doubt on this fairly benign story as most of the foreman and certainly the commisars in the factorys were jewish and nobody would be that brazen enough to talk about the jews at work during this time.
