@reiddragon it's been very depressing especially since I did the trick of blocking the Claude/Cursor/Copilot/etc. accounts on GitHub so that it shows me “a user you blocked has contributed to this repository.” I regularly see that alert for things I care about, and I don't think it's possible to have the tools I want to have and completely avoid using AI-generated code.

@reillypascal@hachyderm.io I probably had the worst tech-relates moment of my life when I found out Vim of all things not only started including LLM code, but also the maintainer just calls claude on pull requests and copy-pastes its output without bothering to add anything himself.
