It is the thing that doesnt create things, the thing that kills around 25 million people every year and manages to hold more than half of the worlds population in austerity while we throw away overproduced stuff to keep prices high. Like, guys, please. We are on the brink of war and people still try to point at AI as the baddie. Sure, the hype is shit and the bubble will burst. But capitalism is your enemy.

@orange_lux@eldritch.cafe Eu adoro como essa frase do Tolkien que ela tá usando pra criticar IA, é a mesma frase que esse mesmo tipo de gente que usa IA, usou na epoca que saiu aquela série do Senhor dos Anéis da Amazon, pra atacar o fato de terem contratado atores negros na série. Claro que quando ELES usaram essa frase, eles estavam projetando, obviamente.
