Since I‘ve seen the figure monthly active Mastodon users I am not convinced our site will ever be a more than small niche. Wondering why. Comparison of Mastodon vs new apps created after Twitter Muskageddon: ⁃ Mastodon: about 770k monthly active users ⁃ Threads: 320,000k monthly active users ⁃ Bluesky: 4,000k daily active users. Maybe twice as many monthly? Threads has the unfair advantage of Insta/FB user base,okay. But vs. Bluesky? And that decline year to year? #mastodon #mastodonUsers
