TL;DR: tried BATS to write bash unit tests, it's amazing :P I always had many custom scripts in my dotfiles, tested manually.. Recently made 2 custom scripts that are quite flexible with options and all, and I really needed a way to write tests for them, so the llms (or me) don't spent their time re writing the same ad-hoc tests manually... 1/2
