EU #ewaste GAMECHANGER: iFixit says that by mid-2027, some EU consumer electronics devices must have user-replaceable batteries. A battery is going to go bad roughly twice as quick as anything else in normal use. This is HUGE and builds on the HUGE win of USB-C for everything. Unfortunately, apparently many phones can be exempted from the process.
