@shibaprasad@mstdn.party India is not a welfare state by any stats, neither has any welfare spending worthy of consideration. Ranks one of the lowest spenders on education, healthcare, or in any HDI effecting category, considering it's size, population, and other comparable developing economies. Its right in politics and right in economics.
