We're so used to #conspiracy theorists being on the ever-encroaching fringe, with soapboxes and megaphones, selling insurance and supplements, that we're unequipped to see what happens when they are given actual power. We expect the conspiracies to be additive at worst. Then we see them multiply and think that they're just multiplicative. And we're left wondering what happened we realized they positive feedback loop we've allowed. 2/3
