Alternate outcome would be: No I’m not giving you $5. You need medical attention, I’m calling 911. Tweaker fakes back/neck injuries, your insurance & the hospital & the court system gets involved, the process drags on for years, you spend time in jail for hitting a pedestrian, your driver license gets suspended, your car insurance skyrockets, and on & on.
