@kubikpixel@chaos.social @godotengine@mastodon.gamedev.place virtually all of them are using default public models too and any "special prompts" they have are trite and fragile. chatbot PRs add nothing. they're like pineapples on pizza - if the project wanted pineapples on their pizza, they would add it themselves because it is easy to add pineapple to pizza. if they didn't, stop suggesting they try pineapples on pizza.

@kubikpixel@chaos.social @godotengine@mastodon.gamedev.place: That's rather late. No Open Source project can accept AI based contributions unless the licenses and copyright owners of all code on which the LLM has been trained on (or at least those which were used for the generated code, if the LLM supports that) are known and listed together with the AI generated contribution. Otherwise the project's code must be considered tainted with non-free code.

@kubikpixel@chaos.social the full wording by @godotengine@mastodon.gamedev.place is even better… Basically: "If you can't be assed to write it yourself, it's an insult for our human maintainers to review it!" - And I agree with that, as I banned #AIslop from all my repos for the same exact reasons (not to mention that "#AI bros" are genocidal sociopaths at best¹)… So yes, #CodeIsPolitical! ¹: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1dIC287Zz0
