@njion@bark.lgbt this is wild... it combines the best things of the two worlds... does this affect the speed at which the mainspring unwinds, or is it good enough to also account for the increased power usage to keep going till the next morning? sadly, this is still nothing i will ever be able to afford (the ones i see are starting in the four digits range, i'm more in the two digits market), unless i learn the whole "doing repair and maintenance myself" thing and hope to find a cheap broken one on ebay...
