@aj I feel like people need to stop complaining about the use of Halium, I know you're not, and just embrace it. It seems like that's going to be the easiest path to a daily driver linux phone. The more people who use it, the more attention it'll draw and gain more devs to make apps for it. Then start moving towards dropping Halium. I'd love to get one of these phones. Only reason I haven't is being in the US and on AT&T and from what I've read it's not all that reliable on AT&T

    @jeb192004@mastodon.social Agreed! I get the hesitancy but, come on, be pragmatic! Using Halium is better than just using straight up Android from top to bottom. And like I said... what else are you going to use that is more pure than Halium? Anyway, you are right about AT&T. In the US, T-mobile and their MVNOs are supported up to 4G. There is an issue getting 5G up and running but Furi is on the case so I have no doubt it'll get solved.
