@Gargron@mastodon.social @kims@mas.to Doctorow's whole deal for decades has been about interoperability. one major talking point was people being able to move their social media accounts wherever they want and/or using a service that allows accounts from different media companies to see and follow each other. he has specifically mentioned blue sky as not allowing that and that's why he isn't there. he made an account on 3/6. bluesky had changed nothing about how they operate. so what changed?
