@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz its just their style. ill probably replace it with a direct drive before too long but for the time being ive picked out a direct drive spool holder and a bracket to relocate the bowden drive to the top which should solve the whole "the stock drive location is pointed straight at my wall" issue. just gotta take a nap and clean up my room enough to do the cussing stream where i set the printer up on the floor to print the parts i need to set it up on my shelf instead
