Haven’t heard of Denuvo DRM in a long time. Is that still a thing? I’m running on Linux, and I think Steam is pretty devoted to as open an OS as possible.
And piracy doesn’t have Denuvo, but it sure as hell can have viruses; it’s not risk-free.
I’m not too worried. If Valve ever goes public, I’ll buy a drive and download all my games from the server, but otherwise, Í trust I’ll be able to download whatever I need in the future.

Yeah, Denuvo DRM is definitely still a thing. In fact, they recently announced that they’re suing the anonymous person who is cracking their DRM. They rather sue a person or group that they don’t even know than actually getting their DRM better. Funny, isn’t it? I know piracy does not have Denuvo; that’s why I love piracy as well. I mentioned Denuvo DRM because people who purchase the games legally still have to deal with it. Certainly, piracy is not risk-free, but if you follow the right guides, use your common sense, and have knowledge regarding technology, the risk is very minimal.
