Fair, but I was kinda thinking of the small shop owners when I postsd my comment. Some of the videos I’ve seen were of independent shops (not chain stores or luxury brands). One video I saw was the shopkeeper pleading to the looters to stop and saying she was on their side (of the protest).

Even then, the focus should be on who bears ultimate responsibility. What is the point in shaming a mob? Will it stop a riot? No, it just gives political cover for state brutality. The power is in the hands of the bourgeoisie to stop and prevent rioting. It’s remarkable how little they must concede, in fact.
