oh- interesting. so this thing i bought was from backcountry dot com. they are big and cutrate and im not surprised they would resort to this model.
the thing that was different from the last time i purchased from them was this “worry free delivery” addon. i normally decline this stuff but i missed it this time.
i bet that means “we will use slave labor to get it to you but if it doesnt make it youll get your money back”

Amazon sucks for drivers for many reasons but as long as they take a photo of the package being dropped off they are also not liable. But those other drivers I think are hating life.... at least, they act like it.
