centrist zionist commenters and pols talk about left victories as if they're illegitimate or some sort of sneaky takeover of the party.
but for D primary voters, touting connections to Israel sounds like touting connections to trump at this point. it's a betrayal.

I don't know if Stevens will win, but her decision to aggressively tout her zionism in a D primary is bafflingly foolish. it's like boasting about getting a good rating from the NRA. you're telling people you're aligned with Rs.
