That sounds like a bullet dodged honestly.
You deserve someone to love you in a way that includes showing it by doing little things to make your life easier/better/more comfortable.

I don’t meet anyone like that. So I stay single. I was just on a date last week with a woman who made it clear it was my job to serve her, and my ‘reward’ was her company and I should never ask anything of her… this is the most common attitude I get these days.
