British Columbia is going permanent DST as of this Sunday. During winter months, this means Surrey will be one hour ahead of Blaine, and Juneau will be two hours behind Prince Rupert.

Hyder, Alaska, unofficially follows the Pacific time zone. Maybe this change will cause Point Roberts, Washington, to unofficially go permanent DST to minimize any disruptions.
