I guess the SAVE act is back up again and passed the house. This will disenfranchise millions of voters, including women who don't have passports but changed their name when married, active deployed troops who cannot come home to register to vote, and trans people who cannot get passports. Call your senators, urge them to vote no. It's easy. Just look up their phone number (either their state office or their office in DC), call in and state that you would like to offer an opinion. If you get a voice mail, just state your name (and anything else they ask for) and then urge them to vote NO on the SAVE act. If you get a person, just state you would like to offer an opinion, and when they say "okay" tell them that you would like your senator to vote no on the SAVE act. Then, thank them for their time. That's it. You don't have to argue for it, you don't have to justify it. Just call and tell them you want their vote to be NO. Email as well, those DO get read.

This is how they steal the midterms, folks. Get on this. Hard. I just emailed both my senators and left a message for each (it's unfortunately after hours). I know how hard it is to get on the phone, I was terrified of it and hate phones. But, once I realized all you have to do is call, leave your name and contact info, and say "I would like Senator ___ to vote NO on the SAVE act, thank you." it became much easier. Remember, they work for YOU, not the other way around.
