It's been just over two weeks since my last post on CritterChat so I wanted to brag a little bit with a list of changes since then: - Emoji message reactions! - Country flags added to emoji search and reactions - Lots of UI design and QOL tweaks - Docker, thanks to @ThawnyRose - Better server CPU utilization - Several bug fixes to bugs found by members of the alpha test instance - Instance information is now displayed to new users and available at any time to logged-in users - Basic moderated room support - Mastodon OAuth support for account creation/authentication allowing you to host a CritterChat instance tied to a Mastodon instance! - Multiple sign-up modes implemented, invites implemented. - Explicit anti-genAI stance added to README, explicit Unlicense (public domain) added to repo.
