can someone please help with some conceptual thoughts about normalizing pathnames to NFC/NFD? I'm syncing audio files between Linux and macOS using Nextcloud. I'm also managing playlists that have paths to those files. Now macOS likes to do NFD when it encounters diacritics etc., while Linux likes to do NFC. I'm still unclear how exactly Nextcloud deals with this when syncing between the two, and especially what my paths in the playlists should actually be. Should I just always normalize to NFC in my playlists?
