Fixing a [Rule]box car is always better with friends

For those curious: I broke the bolts AND started the scope creep. We were literally gonna only fix one thing (that we had finished at the point) then I said “Since we’ve already got this part off, might as well swap that bushing out while it’s in the open.” And then all hell broke loose (But not the bolts). Yes I bought them lunch… and dinner… and lunch afterwards. I love that man, and I won’t stop telling them that.

Yeah. Just gonna replace the bottom bracket. 10 min MAX! Oh, the thread to pull of the crank got mangled. Gotta use a hammer. Oh, the threads for the bracket is also mangled. 3 strong dudes, two days adn 3 hours of work later it finally gives. Well, now my bike works again.

Every car repair job I do has that one fastener. It’s the one that makes the job take three hours because you spend two hours removing just that one.
