In today’s episode of “I did a thing”: I managed to create the basic framework for my new Protogen visor! It’s currently hooked up to two of my monitors so I can test it. Later, it will run on two 800×480 5-inch LCDs that fit into the toaster! (1/2) #protogen #fursuit

It’s nice seeing them working in sync (most of the time). Since each display is driven by a separate Pi Zero 2W, sometimes a panel glitches out—for example, when blinking, the animation can start looping. Now I somehow need to do some magic: speed up the boot time, create proper expressions and animations, build a frame compatible with the original visor, get the screens delivered, and somehow power all of this. Then the basic version for inside the head will be ready! (2/2)
