Their religion says that they are the chosen race of God, and everyone else is lesser than them. Such fanatical beliefs create these kinds of lunatics. Religious fanaticism is a horrible thing.

Pretty much like all religions. That’s why we need the separation of church and state (which was never actually a thing in most EU countries and existed only on paper in the US). Most countries would be like this if they were powerful enough.
