Glad that we got a clear, sunny afternoon today. Near the edge of a golf course near Studland there's a little colony of native wild daffodils, many of which (as in this photo) are double forms.
#etymology note for those interested in such matters: "daffodil" comes by a circuitous route from Ancient Greek "asphodel", which in modern languages now refers to some rather different species.

@ancientsounds@mastodonapp.uk Studland is somewhere in Dorset? I had to look that up. So spring is coming to Europe already huh. Still icy as fuck here in Sweden. I guess you guys get more warm water sooner though.
