I have the empirical and theoretical evidence to prove that wrong. Everybody is self made, not everyone will admit it or recognise it. Off all the factors that govern our lives, from the circumstances of our birth, to random chance and our daily routines… Nothing in our lives has a bigger impact on who we are as a person than the choices we make.
