NZ folk. What happens with NZ Change of Car Ownership forms, if you have no idea who you sold the car to? They just paid and went 🤷♂️

Errrr … it’s always been a bit loose. Trusted that people send their paperwork in promptly and didn’t bullshit on the details. Mainly the ownership follows who is holding the keys. Except when it comes to speeding and parking tickets. @essjax

Get in touch with Waka Kotahi. You need to let them know as soon as you’ve sold the car but you’re supposed to have that information. They should be able to advise you
